MK2 Beaubourg: a cultural meeting point at Les Halles cinema

It is one of the MK2 cinemas to be classified as art house in Paris. It' s also the only MK2 cinema to open its doors to the public at 9 a.m. for a morning screening. And for those who can't make it to the cinema in the morning, you've got the whole day to enjoy it: theatres close at midnight. With 6 cinemas and over 500 seats, MK2 Beaubourg offers a wide range of films (both current and special releases) and documentaries in their original version. Every month, the Beaubourg cinema also screens previews of new films. A plus for the impatient who don't want to wait for the official release date of a feature film.

As in other MK2 cinemas, the cultural season is back this year, with several lecture-debates organized each month. Available at MK2 Beaubourg: 1h, 1 artiste, 1h, 1 histoire de Paris and the pop culture lecture. Find out more about these conferences here!

At the MK2 cinema reception, there's another point of cultural exchange between spectators. A participatory library is available for free access, with books to read, take home and exchange.

Located in the heart of the Halles district, MK2 Beaubourg is also surrounded by other major cultural venues such as the Centre Georges Pompidou, a venue for exhibitions, shows, debates and more... The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire du Judaïsme is just a 4-minute walk away. But for the unconditional shopper, there's the Forum des Halles, a shopping mall with no fewer than 160 boutiques! The MK2 Beaubourg also has the advantage of being easily accessible, thanks to several metro lines: 1, 3, 4, 7, 11 and 14, as well as RER lines A, B and D. The MK2 Beaubourg is waiting for you!
