Open-air cinema at La Villette returns from July 22 to August 16, 2026 in Paris. Set on the Prairie du Triangle, in the Parc de la Villette, the event sticks to the format launched last year with two free screenings per day, at 18:00 for a family audience with a lineup of intergenerational and mainly animated films, and at 21:00 presenting titles for adults.

Based in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, this free festival ranks among the capital’s most popular summer events. Spectators are free to settle on the lawn, space permitting, under the conditions specified by the organizers.

For this 2026 edition, the festival has embraced the theme “The Call of the Wild”, steering a lineup around nature, the wild, adventure (and yes, a dash of dread!) and the great outdoors.
