As the evenings grow longer, Paris rolls its screens out into the open: the Quai Branly, the Villette, and several of the capital’s parks are drawing in fans of open-air cinema. The trend is spilling over to the rest of the Île-de-France, with screenings that are often free and framed as neighborhood gatherings. In Goussainville, in the Val-d'Oise (95), outdoor cinema leans into proximity, offering multiple showings across the town.

This edition also marks a novelty: the first screening organized on the grassy field at Grandes-Bornes, a venue chosen by residents through the participatory budgeting process. The screenings begin at 10 p.m. and are entirely free, allowing families as well as groups of friends to enjoy a movie in a summer ambiance.
By offering several screening venues and a poster that blends adventures, animation, superheroes, and reimagined classics, Goussainville is bringing cinema to the neighborhoods all summer long!
