The date for the return of "Star Academy" on TF1, following last year's success, is now known. The TV talent show will return to the airwaves on November 4, 2023, for a longer version and 12 weeks of competition.

Last year, the famous musical TV talent show of the early 2000s, Star Academy, returned to our screens, much to the delight of nostalgic fans. After the success of this short season, which only lasted 6 weeks due to the soccer World Cup, TF1 decided to renew the experience for another season, starting on November 4, 2023. This time, it's back to basics, with 12 weeks of competition, just like in the old days, so you can get to know the new contestants a little better!

Won by Anisha, the 11th season appealed not only to younger viewers who didn't follow the show in its early years, but also to those who saw Jenifer, Nolwenn Leroy and Grégory Lemarchal become real stars in France. The 13 new candidates in search of success will arrive at the mythical chateau of Dammarie-lès-Lys, in Seine-et-Marne, and spend Christmas and New Year's Eve there, just like before.

This year, the show will continue to be presentedby Nikos Aliagas, accompanied by Karima Charni, with its daily show (weekdays at 5.25pm, Saturdays at 5.15pm and Sundays at 4.15pm), its weekly primetime show, its Tuesday reviews and its phone-in minute. Every Saturday evening, three candidates will be at risk during the primetime show, with elimination by the public at the end of the evening. The prize is 100,000 euros for the winner, plus the release of an album with Sony Music. Michael Goldman, son of Jean-Jacques Goldman, is back in the role of Star Academy director.

As for the teachers, Adeline Toniutti, Pierre de Brauer, Lucie Bernardoni, Marlène Schaff and Coach Jo are back for another season. But Yanis Marshall leaves his place to Malika Benjelloun and Laure Balon to Cécile Chaduteau. The name of the godfather has not yet been revealed, but there will be two, with a godmother, and they should be French, much more present for the candidates than the previous one. No doubt many French-speaking singers and musicians will be back on the TF1 set to sing a few notes with the new candidates, but for the opening show, David Guetta will be present!
