Throughout France, Les Mycéliades is setting up shop incinemas and media libraries from January 31 to February 15, 2026, with its science fictionfestival! Nearly 160 pairs of movie theaters and media libraries are offering programming and activities on the theme of "Resilience," through film screenings, meetings, writing and drawing workshops, escape games, and conferences, alongside web creators and science communicators.
The program will explore resilience in the face of climate, energy, and food risksthrough cinema,books, video games, and comic books, as well as its importance in pop culture. It's an opportunity to tryto avoid the end of the world together, reflect on the construction of habitable worlds, and face crises during this festival. Both old and new films will be screened in your local cinemas, including Train to Busan, Flow, Oblivion, Snowpiercer, Mad Max, and Nausicaä.
In general, events at media libraries are free of charge, while cinema screenings are subject to a fee, depending on each cinema's pricing policy. Details of the programs will be available over the coming days on the event website.
