In 1918, a Jewish barber from Tomaniye saves Colonel Schultz and then suffers amnesia. During a roundup, he’s arrested with Schultz, but the pair escape by disguising themselves as soldiers. Mistaken for Hynkel, the barber must address the crowd and delivers a stirring call for unity and humanity.
