Behind the scenes at the Citadel, the fictional Parisian palace, Adèle — a young detainee portrayed by Manon Bresch — lands a porter job through the reintegration program run by the hotel’s all-powerful director, Édouard Galzain (Melvil Poupaud). A tacit pact binds them, thrusting her into a covert power game where ambitious staff, influential clients, and outside networks each chase an edge. Little by little, she turns survival into ascent and becomes an unpredictable force, ready to seize — or wrench away — the place she believes she deserves.

Created, written and directed by Marie Monge and Vladimir de Fontenay — their second collaboration — the series is produced by Hugo Gélin for Zazi Séries. Imagined as a contemporary locked-room drama, it probes power dynamics in a space where worlds that would never cross paths otherwise coexist. The interior spaces — lobby, suites, offices — were built on a soundstage, while some exterior shots were filmed in Paris, notably around the Champs-Élysées, to heighten the contrast between the lounges frequented by clients and the back-of-house areas reserved for staff.

The cast brings together Manon Bresch and Melvil Poupaud alongside Nina Zem, Zar Amir, Anne Azoulay, Sandor Funtek, Joseph Olivennes and Stéphanie Atala. The series was showcased in the French lineup at the Séries Mania festival.
