Niall and Ruben are like brothers, not by blood but by bond. One is fiery and loyal, the other gentle and reserved. Torn apart by death and circumstance, they grow up almost inseparable. A sudden blast of violence then launches the story from the 1980s to the present, tracing thirty years in the lives of these two damaged men.
