Forest spirits, scooter-riding witches, flying dragons and enigmatic herons... From July 4 to 6, 2025, the Grand Rex transforms into the kingdom ofJapanese animation with a Studio Ghibli retrospective that will thrill fans.
To celebrate the release of UNIQLO's UT Studio Ghibli collection, the 2nd arrondissement cinema in Paris rolls out the red carpet for the studio's greatest wonders. Three days. Ten cult films. A touch of magic-nostalgia.
We open the ball on Friday, July 4 with a great encounter: Toshio Suzuki, the studio's legendary producer, in conversation with Michael Dudok de Wit(The Red Turtle) and Koji Yanai (UNIQLO), before the screening of the Franco-Japanese film. This was followed by the iconic Princess Mononoké, Kiki the Little Witch, Nausicaä, The Moving Castle, Chihiro's Journey... and the latest nugget, The Boy and the Heron.
