BTS ARMY: the documentary Forever We Are Young in cinemas this summer

ARMY, the community of fans of K-Pop group BTS, will be at the cinema from Wednesday, July 30, 2025 to discover the worldwide cinema release of the documentary "Forever We Are Young". Directed by Grace Lee and Patty Ahn, the film sheds light on the famous BTS fandom, currently gathering 90 million fans!

BTS fans are all smiles! On June 21, Suga was officially discharged from his military obligations in South Korea. The artist was thus the last of the seven members of BTS to complete his military service, just a few days after RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook, four other members of the K-pop group. From now on, all hopes are high for the many BTS fans, who are already dreaming of a new tour. In the meantime, the " BTS Army ", the nickname given to fans of the South Korean group, are at the cinema to discover the documentary " Forever We Are Young " .

Directed by Grace Lee and Patty Ahn, the film is due to be released in cinemas worldwide from Wednesday, July 30, 2025. It spotlights the famous BTS fandom, which now boasts 90 million fans worldwide.

" Forever We Are Young " takes us on a journey to meet the fans who will do anything to help BTS dominate the charts. The film is said to offer an unprecedented look at fans' creativity and their emotional bond with the band,"through personal stories, international fan movements and memories of unforgettable concerts".

Premiering at SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas, " BTS Army: Forever We Are Young " has since screened at several other festivals around the world, including Copenhagen, Mexico, Hawaii and Los Angeles.

" There is no BTS without ARMY, and no ARMY without BTS. We can't wait for audiences to experience an emotional journey and meet a fandom that has made us laugh, cry and think. We've been constantly touched by the power, resilience, creativity and humor of the fans, and we hope the audience will be too," said Grace Lee and Patty Ahn, co-directors of " Forever We Are Young ".
