You thought summer was coming to an end? Think again! Belly (Lola Tung) and Conrad (Christopher Briney) aren't leaving us just yet! Following the broadcast of season 3 of The SummerI Turned Pretty on Prime Video, fans were in for a surprise at a screening of the final episode in Paris, attended by the cast: an official film is in preparation to bring the saga to a close!
Warning, spoilers! In the finale, Conrad meets Belly in Paris. After an evening with friends, a scorching kiss and... a night together, Belly hesitates and lets Conrad catch his train... before returning to make a declaration of love. The two then head back to Cousins, with beaches and sunsets on the agenda. The series ends... but not their story. And unlike the novel, we don't yet see their wedding.

So what does the film have in store for us? Jenny Han, writer and showrunner, promises it will be "a milestone in Belly's journey". The suspense remains. Wedding, reunion or party under the stars at Cousins Beach... anything is possible, but nothing is revealed.
Written and directed by Han herself, this film will be the final chapter in a saga that has made us smile, dream and shiver since its very first broadcast in June 2022.
