L’Ourse et l’oiseau, a program of animated short films for ages 3 and up, will be released in theaters on February 25, 2026. Four stories about bears and curious animals.

Directed by Marie Caudry, Aurore Peuffier, and Nina Bisyarina, this family animation program features the voices of Noémie Lvovsky, Bertrand Belin, and Estéban. Inspired by the album Les Lettres de l'Ourse, it will be released in theaters in France on February 25, 2026.

The program brings together four stories centered on bears at different stages of their lives. Each short film features an animal companion—a baby bird, rabbit, or bird—and explores the discovery of living together through simple and sensitive adventures.

Between acrobatics, hibernation, and the emotions of separation, these stories follow the encounters of animals faced with choices that transform their daily lives and their relationships.

The trailer will be added as soon as it is released by Little KMBO.

The program brings together four short films from French and Russian productions, according to information provided by the distributor. Aurore Peuffier directs Animal rit, Nina Bisyarina directs Chuuut ! and Martin Clerget directs Émerveillement. The main film, directed by Marie Caudry, adapts the world of the album Les Lettres de l'Ourse published by Casterman. The French voices are provided by Noémie Lvovsky, Bertrand Belin, and Estéban.

The film has a contemplative, family-friendly tone, designed for young audiences aged three and up. The themes focus on friendship, seasonal separation, curiosity, and learning about emotions.
