Based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir
Nationality: United States
Adapted from Marvel's Spider-Man Noir comic, the series follows Ben Reilly, an aging, luckless private detective forced to confront his past as the city's only superhero. In a metropolis scarred by corruption and violence, Spider-Noir shifts Spider-Man's mythos into the tropes of film noir.
The trailer, unveiled as a world premiere at CCXP MX26 in Mexico, confirms the project’s visual direction: stark shadows, an urban-noir mood, and a hero marked by his past. Prime Video will offer the series in two selectable versions, Authentic Black and White or True Color, to preserve the character’s aesthetic core while providing an alternate interpretation.
The cast features Nicolas Cage, Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson. Several guest stars are also lined up, including Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Amanda Schull, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.
Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. They developed the series with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal, members of the Oscar-winning team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Harry Bradbeer, an Emmy winner for Fleabag and Killing Eve, directs and produces the first two episodes.
Trailer for Spider-Noir
With its retro setting and a jaded hero, Spider-Noir targets both Marvel fans and fans of dark crime tales, urban thrillers, and moodier, twilight-haunted variations of superhero storytelling.
