What does Mylène Farmer have in store for us this fall? The iconic singer of Désenchantée is gearing up for a comeback with a new album, but that’s not all...
Last June 24, the artist offered a few details about this new, 13th studio album. Titled "Égrégore", the record is set to drop on October 30, 2026. The cover, crafted by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, was also unveiled for the occasion. It features the singer's face, eyes closed, gently brushed by several hands.
Late July, Mylène Farmer continued to keep her fans on edge by announcing a mysterious film project in the cinéma, slated for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, just a few days before the release of her next album.
This Thursday, August 27, new details were shared by the agency Hashtag NP and Pathé Live. "Be the first to immerse yourself in Mylène Farmer's new event album, brought to life on screen. A one-off evening. A fleeting experience. Exclusively in cinemas on 27.10.26," it says. On October 27, 2026, fans of Mylène Farmer will indeed be set for a cinema date to discover it in preview during a single screening, the artist's new opus, "Égrégore".
But then, when is the ticket office opening scheduled? Hashtag NP says exclusive pre-sales for IMAX theatres will be available from Tuesday, September 1. Pre-sales for all other venues will open on Thursday, September 3. Note that the list of venues will be unveiled on the same day.
Remember that the video for the track "C'est à qui le tour", the first single from "Égrégore", was directed by the renowned Julia Ducournau, winner of the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2021. Meanwhile, actor and director Gilles Lellouche has announced he will shoot a clip for the singer. “ Actually, I’m about to shoot a video for the first time in 10 years. A clip for Mylène Farmer,” he revealed on May 9 on the RTL show 'Variétés'. Finally, on June 16, Mylène Farmer disclosed that she was in production in Paris with director Thierry Poiraud.
