KATSEYE: Wild Hearts, the musical documentary about the group KATSEYE, will arrive in France on Disney+ on October 16, 2026. Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the film chronicles the rise of Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae from Dream Academy to their international breakout.
The documentary pairs never-before-seen footage, interviews with the group members, and videos shot by their fans, who are known as the EYEKONS. It focuses as much on how they formed as on the sacrifices, the setbacks, and the pivotal moments that propelled them onto the international charts.
Created as part of a partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records, KATSEYE brings together six artists from diverse backgrounds. The group was formed at the end of the program The Debut: Dream Academy, whose behind-the-scenes had already been explored in the Netflix documentary series Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.
Wild Hearts focuses on a new chapter in their career and the community that has formed around the group. Its arrival on Disney+ follows a limited theatrical release, the launch of the The Wildworld Tour, and the release of the EP Wild.
The film is produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures, in partnership with HYBE x Geffen. Nadia Hallgren also directed the documentary Becoming, which centers on Michelle Obama.
