The Baltimorons – Christmas in Baltimore: Trailer for Jay Duplass’s comedy

A broken tooth on Christmas Eve, an on-call dentist, and a night that stretches on through the streets of Baltimore: The Baltimorons – Christmas in Baltimore, directed by Jay Duplass, opens in theaters in France on December 30, 2026. Michael Strassner, who also co-wrote the film with the director, stars alongside Liz Larsen and Olivia Luccardi.

Cliff, a comedian trying to recover from depression, meets Didi after a dental emergency. She has just divorced. Their appointment soon spills beyond the clinic and takes them across the city, while everyone else celebrates New Year’s Eve. This encounter between two adults at a vulnerable point in their lives sets the comedy in motion.

The film won the Audience Award in the Narrative Spotlight section at SXSW in 2025. Distributed in France by Survivance, this 1-hour-40-minute American feature is set to be released in its original version with French subtitles.
