The beginning of each month is eagerly anticipated by gamers, and for good reason: PlayStation console owners regularly receive a wonderful gift. Sony offers several free games to PlayStation Plus subscribers. It’s a great deal that has allowed players to rediscover titles like RoboCop: Rogue City, Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition, Stray, Diablo IV, Lies of P, Call of Duty Black Ops IV, or NBA 2K24, all offered at some point by Sony to PS+ members.
Last January, Sony delighted both casual and hardcore gamers with the release of Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, now available on PS5. The gaming buzz then intensified with Need for Speed Unbound, a high-octane street racing experience. Gamers also found themselves tempted by a retro-inspired sandbox survival indie, Core Keeper, which kicks off its seasonal event across PC and consoles.
And what surprises does PS Plus have in store for us this month? Sony is celebrating the month of love by presenting us with some great gifts, in February 2026. Starting January 3rd, we can enjoy four free games available for download. This month, we're kicking off with Undisputed (PS5), a boxing title that aims for authenticity and ultra-realism, perfect for sports enthusiasts. Next up is Subnautica: Below Zero (PS4, PS5), offering an exploration and survival adventure in a freezing, otherworldly environment. We’re adding a splash of color with Ultros (PS4, PS5), a psychedelic game set in a captivating universe. Finally, fans of combat flight simulators can dive into a classic: Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4). It's going to be a packed month. Grab your controllers!
