Play Sorbonne U, the video and board game festival on the Pierre & Marie Curie campus

For the sixth year running, Sorbonne Université 's student association dedicated to video games is organizing its Play Sorbonne Ufestival, on the Pierre et Marie Curie campus in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, on Saturday September 16, 2023. Numerous enthusiasts will be gathering around playful video culture, board games and video games, to introduce the curious to this vast universe.

Participants are invited to watch, listen and take part in a wide range of free activities. On-site gaming professionals will be on hand, including developers, publishers and associations. The festival is open to everyone, whether you're an avid gamer or just want to get to know all gaming media. Admission is free, but don't forget to register in advance so you don't miss a thing!

Festival program:

• Meetings with independent developers
• Free access to board games, arcade terminals, foosball tables and video games
• An exhibition of video games at the crossroads of art and sociology, based on the work of Roger Caillois (Les Jeux et les Hommes, 1958)
• A Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament featuring 256 players
