While the game has been available exclusively in early access on PC since May 27, 2024,Ubisoft announced the immediate release of Rogue Prince of Persia on PS5 and Xbox Series (via PS+ and Game Pass), during the Xbox Broadcast conference at Gamescom 2025. And as good news never comes alone, the game will also be available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
The game is slightly different from previous opuses, since it will take on the air of a 2D roguelite, as Ubisoft explained in a tweet.
