The RPG, released in 2022, had quickly joined the pantheon of cult video games thanks to its rich open world, meticulous aesthetics, sublime soundtrack, highly challenging gameplay and longevity. And we haven't heard the last of it, since Fromsoftware and Bandai Namco have announced the arrival of a new adventure on console and PC in 2025. We now know the release date of this next video game: May 30, 2025.
Get ready for Elden Ring - Nightreign, a co-op action-RPG in which players can join forces as a trio to defeat the Lord Nocturne, by surviving a three-night cycle. Combining exploration and combat, it promises an adventure during which strategic choices will have to be made.
First of all, there's the choice of character, with eight unique profiles each featuring different abilities and techniques. This epic journey through Limveld encourages players to make the right decisions quickly, as theNocturnal Storm gradually reduces the map's safe zones. Each night ends with a boss battle, the last of which is none other than the Night Lord. As you can see, you're in for a real challenge.

However, the press release goes on to say that "Each failure will allow players to acquire relics that will allow them to improve and customize their Heroes, according to their style of play". So defeat is not without its lessons. On the other hand: "Each victory over the night will bring players a little closer to the defeat of the Night Lord, and will further lift the veil on the history of each Hero in this parallel world". And for lone wolves, the adventure will also be playable solo.
