The Game France pavilion showcases 35 titles, with creator meet-and-greets and a lineup of activities at Paris Games Week, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, from October 22 to 25, 2026. Spanning 300 square meters, this space dedicated to French video games also hosts a stage curated by Mamapaprika, offering presentations, quizzes and discussions.

French video games invite the curious to the Game France pavilion at Paris Games Week 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, from October 22 to 25, 2026. Led by Capital Games and the National Syndicate of Video Games (SNJV), this pavilion of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) brings together 35 games across 300 square meters. It’s an opportunity to discover French productions and meet the teams behind them, from independent studios to names already familiar to players.

The lineup lets you switch atmospheres without leaving the pavilion. Cairn, from The Game Bakers, Windblown, from Motion Twin, and Astral Ascent, from Hibernian Workshop, are among the announced titles. Focus Entertainment in particular showcases Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, while ARTE backs several indie auteur games, including Looking for Fael, Matelotes, The Merlies and Tom the Postgirl. Action games, quieter adventures, sports management, or shareable experiences thus fill out the program.

Some studios are rolling out hands-on setups to let you experience their games. Let’s Sing 2027 from Voxler offers a voice booth for you to sing your heart out, while an arcade cabinet for Retrogoblins from AWARECORP Studios gives you a bite-sized arcade experience. Two practical, player-first ways to approach the games before we talk to the designers.

The show schedule also aligns with several new releases. Atlantis Studio will unveil Beyond the Dark: Nightwatch, its first game, announced for Switch 2 on October 22. This two-player horror experience assigns different roles to each participant. The pavilion will also host The Witch’s Bakery from Sunny Lab, and the 3D platformer Pardon My French Toast from ReRolled Studio, with release dates set for October 14 and 15 respectively. Looking ahead to November, visitors will be able to check out the upcoming titles Heidi’s Legacy: Mountains Calling, Teamcrafter, and Pro Basketball Manager 2027.

A daily stage run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. led by Mamapaprika, a columnist for ARTE and a streamer, adds depth to the visit. Teams showcase their projects there, with sessions that spark discussion about careers, practices, and audiences in video games. The organizations Afrogameuses, Respect Zone, Silver Geek, and Women in Games France are announced as part of the lineup.

Among the events already announced:

  • Friday, October 23 at 4:25 p.m.: the Afro Game Quiz, hosted by Jennifer Lufau of Narratify.
  • Saturday, October 24 at 2:40 p.m.: Florian Verdier delivering a talk on animal conservation in video games.
  • Saturday, October 24 at 4:55 p.m.: Anna Bressan presents two years’ worth of data on the experiences of women and men in video games.
  • Sunday, October 25 at 11:05 a.m.: Claudio Kovalkine discusses the possibility of turning a passion for video games into a career.
  • Sunday, October 25 at 4:45 p.m.: a roundtable on motion and motion capture, with Silvia Gaillard, Estelle Darnault and Jeremy Senelier.

To extend the discoveries beyond the show, the organizers also announce a spotlight on the pavilion's games on a Steam Game France page during the event.

There’s one question teams are asked between sessions: how does a game idea come about? Behind a mechanic, a character, or a setting, the answer may begin with a memory, a constraint, or an unexpected urge.
