Sneakers reach the ceiling, marble underfoot, and bagels just a few steps from the racks: welcome to Kith. At 49 rue Pierre-Charron, in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, the New York brand founded by Ronnie Fieg has taken over the former Pershing Hall to install its enormous concept store of nearly 1,500 m². A place where the spirit of American streetwear meets the elegance of a historic building.
Spread across three floors, the shop blends Kith's men's, women's and children's collections with a curated selection of sneakers, clothing and branded accessories. The label is notably known for its collaborations with major names in fashion and sportswear, which regularly yield highly sought-after pieces.
And the decor begs you to look up. Designed with Snarkitecture, the space blends Carrara marble, soaring volumes and details dedicated entirely to sneaker culture. Molded replicas of sneakers adorn the vaulted entrance ceiling, while a striking chandelier inspired by Nike Air Max models underscores that the shoe is elevated to a cult object. A basement space can also host installations and presentations related to the brand's collections and collaborations.
But Kith isn't aimed only at sneakerheads. The shop also houses Sadelle's, a New York restaurant built around an interior courtyard, where you can find bagels, pancakes, Eggs Benedict and other American brunch classics.
For a sweet note, head to Kith Treats, its ice-cream bar with marble-and-steel décor, instantly identifiable by the wall of cereal dispensers. The concept? Build your own ice cream with a range of toppings, including cereals, or choose from the house recipes.
Between fashion, architecture and indulgence, Kith has laid on plenty to seriously extend your shopping session. And even if sneakers aren’t your thing, the venue still packs a few compelling reasons to walk through the door.
