Journées Particulières return from October 16 to 18, 2026, to lift the veil on houses, ateliers and spaces that are usually off-limits. For three days, the public can follow the thread of creation and meet the people who keep craft alive, where a skilled hand makes all the difference.
Once again, we head to Moynat’s workshops in Paris’s 1st arrondissement. Founded in the capital in 1849, the house ranks among France’s oldest names in trunks and travel goods. In the early 20th century, its “M” monogram becomes one of its defining hallmarks. Today, the brand continues that legacy with bags and accessories crafted using traditional artisanal techniques.
Behind every bag lies true artisanal craftsmanship. From choosing the hides to cutting, assembling, stitching, and finishing, the materials pass through the hands of artisans before taking their final form. For Journées Particulières, Moynat is opening up the workshop doors like never before, inviting the public to trace the thread of this making process.
