Make way for fashion and art on the Champs Élysées with the new The Kooples flagship - our photos

What better showcase than "the most beautiful avenue in the world" for a fashion brand? The Kooples opened its Paris flagship store at 93 avenue des Champs-Élysées on Monday October 31, 2022, taking over from Lacoste, which is now on the opposite sidewalk.

For its exceptional new address, the French label breathes an urban-trendy vibe into its 300 square-meter, two-storey boutique. With concrete, rough walls, sheet metal and neon lights, The Kooples space is hip from floor to ceiling!

"For us, it's a first to open a store of this size, so it's inevitably a different concept. It's a challenge, but we wanted a strong bias that expresses the repositioning of the brand we embarked on last year. We opted for bare walls and a raw spirit. The huge mirrors are a break with the past and reflect our premium approach", explains Marie Schott, General Manager of The Kooples, according to Fashion Network.

An unexpected art gallery! The brand also sees this as an opportunity to showcase artists close to its DNA, as highlighted in its partnership with the Musée MacVal. Anthony Vaccarello, Saint Laurent's Artistic Director, wears a new patron's hat at Saint Laurent Rive Droite.

Access to the store is via two different entrances:

- On the one hand, there's a 40-square-meter event zone dedicated to a collaboration or a trend of the moment, animated by a huge screen that immediately puts you in the mood. The EMILY bag, The Kooples ' it-bag, follows the leopard motif, the brand's flagship print, in this 100% stylish pop-up . The plus? For the festive season, the flagship has opened a space dedicated to customizing these emblematic bags! Come and have your initials stamped in gold or silver lettering on your new baby, or bring along your EMILY if you already have one!

- on the other, a resolutely black-and-white universe, embellished with logotype pieces, but also the guest artist's field of expression, which begins right in the window. A work by Gaby Sahar opens this first fashion-art window. Upstairs, men's and women's collections litter the steel racks, while the brand's latest it-bags sit proudly on the shelves of a mirrored alcove.
