Third pop-up for Hôtel Mahfouf, the ephemeral boutique of youtuber Léna Situations. For the whole month of August, you'll be able to discover her new clothing collection, as well as enjoy the Californian-style terrace and restaurant in Paris's 10th arrondissement.
The August vlog season is back, and it's time for Léna Situations, the famous youtuber, to launch a new pop-up- her third to date, after the Christmas one we tested! The first two proved too small, in the face of an unexpected influx of fans, but this time the young woman has taken the lead, with a huge, well-known space, located just off the Gare de l'Est, in the 10th arrondissement.
From August 3 to 31, you'll find a pretty California-inspired terrace, a new collection of clothes and products, including swimwear, and food and drink, with chilled ice creams, mochi and other vegetarian treats.
For the past seven years, the yachtswoman has been launching a series of videos throughout August, followed by millions of people. Last summer, the first ephemeral venue opened its doors and caused impressive queues in the streets of the capital. This time around, the queues are still long, but the space is much bigger and much nicer, located in a responsible fashion incubator, La Caserne.
It's hard to recommend a time to drop in, as the flow of people interested in the pop-up seems endless. In the middle of the week, however, you'll find fewer people than on a Saturday, and the wait never exceeds an hour, unlike in the early days of opening. Once inside, you'll find the place transformed and welcoming, in sunny pastel tones. Amid the
deckchairs and ball pool, you'll find small iced dessert stands and a photo booth.
As for the boutique, there's a long queue here too. If the price is rather high, it's because Léna Situations wants to move away from fast fashion and offers clothes made in Europe. You'll find swimwear, a polo shirt with the youtuber's signature "+=+", a reversible skirt in shimmering colors and a scarf, the collection's best-seller. There's something for every taste and every budget, so that every one of the young woman's fans can treat themselves to a little something, from a mug to a key-ring, from socks to a deck of cards.
After a
shopping spree, it's time to take a seat on the terrace and sample the new catering offer,
adapted to all diets. Burgers, vegan nuggets, grilled cheese, avocado toast - the choice is yours, although portions are small enough for hungry stomachs. To accompany it all, sip lemonade, a white tea and peach lobby boy or a California Glow smoothie, enhanced with collagen, with a small donut, shortbread or cookie.
As last year, a number of evening events will be organized to create a summery, festive atmosphere for"chilling out, shopping, eating, sunbathing, drinking and dancing" .
