The venue pays as much attention to its décor as to the hair. Under a soaring glass roof, monumental frescoes, raw materials, flea-market finds, a library of art books and a vintage barrette bar compose a world that sits halfway between a cabinet of curiosities and the lobby of a hotel. Even the shampoo basins sit among the art volumes. Here, there’s no rush between two snips: the welcome, the comfort and the ambiance are all part of the experience.
Behind the chairs, Maison Martha brings together a collective of independent hairstylists, chosen for their craft, their personality, and their mastery of the technique. Each stylist works freely in their practice while benefiting from a shared framework designed to showcase their work and offer tailored support. Conceived by Margot Mélinand, the concept gives a fresh cut to the traditional salon. Maison Martha aims to make the hair-appointment experience more human, more comfortable, and more vibrant, a place you come to not only to take care of your hair but also to enjoy the space.
