Founded in Milan in 1975 by Giorgio Armani, the house has redefined the modern wardrobe with its deconstructed jackets, relaxed tailoring, and a keen sense of proportion. The Italian designer rose to prominence thanks to a love of clean lines, deconstructed jackets, and mineral palettes. In 2005, he pushed further with the launch of Giorgio Armani Privé, his haute couture line presented exclusively in Paris, where embroidery, draping, and fluid silhouettes refine this unmistakably Italian elegance.
Since the death of Giorgio Armani, on September 4, 2025, the House presses on in the spirit of its founder. In his will, the couturier entrusted Leo Dell'Orco, his closest collaborator for nearly fifty years, with the mission of safeguarding the brand's creative continuity. Joining Armani in 1977 and long-time artistic director of the men's collections, he now carries the responsibility of preserving the label's stylistic DNA while guiding its new chapter.
