While thousands of readers will walk the corridors of the Book Festival, from April 21 to 23, the association of independent publishers L'autre livre organizes, as every year, its own fair, at the same dates, to represent the "off part" of this great literary event. During these three days of festivities dedicated to independent publishing, one hundred independent publishers, as well as their authors, will be present at the Palais de la Femme, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. And unlike the Salon du Livre, the entrance is free.
The organization of the Other Book, at the origin of the fair, exists since 2002, its goal is to federate the independent publishers. It is an opportunity to meet the authors, to make dedications, activities. The organization specifies that the goal of the Salon de l'Autre Livre is not to compete with the Salon du Livre, but to be complementary.
