Livre comme l'air: the children's literature and illustration festival in the Paris region

For this latest edition of Livre comme l'air, the Roissy Pays de France inter-municipal network has planned a wide range of events focusing on children's literature and illustration. From March 12 to April 5, 2025, visit media libraries and partner venues across the agglomeration (Val-d'Oise and Seine-et-Marne) to celebrate the expertise of the book world, on the theme "Allez on sort!". Meet authors and illustrators and discover the diversity of techniques used to illustrate a children's book!

For almost a month, take part in creative workshops, enjoy exhibitions of original works and performances, and discover the worlds of the various participating artists. Ilya Green, children's illustrator, is the guest of honor at the literature festival, an opportunity to discover her source of inspiration, nature, from another angle, alongside the children's characters of her imagination.

Learn more about the process of making the book that will end up in your hands, for superb literary emotions! On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the festival's closing event will take place at the Salle Agora in Othis, with meetings, readings and book signings.
