The Pantin Japanese Festival is back for its third edition, accompanied by Martial Arts Night! Two exceptional days celebrating Japanese culture, cuisine, and martial arts, featuring demonstrations, introductions, conferences, workshops, and other activities for the whole family, await you on the weekend of November 15 and 16, 2025.
The Maurice Baquet gymnasium will be transformed into a little piece of Japan in the heart of Pantin. Over two days, enjoy introductions to aikido, sumo, manga, and calligraphy, try your luck in a manga drawing contest for children aged 7 to 16, or a video game contest on Switch.
A conference on tea, craft stalls, fun workshops, and a concert by Japanese singer Naotan City Pop also await you, not to mentionthe food court where lovers of Japanese cuisine will find onigiri and Japanese pastries.
On Saturday evening, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., it's time for the big Pantin Martial Arts Night show: three hours of spectacular demonstrations bringing together aikido, judo, karate, boxing, capoeira, taekwondo, lightsaber, and sumo, which bring together clubs and experts from the region to discover the richness and beauty of martial arts.
Admission to the festival is €2 for adults and €1 for children under 16, and between €6 and €10 for the evening event, for which reservations are recommended as places are limited. The profits from the festival and the evening event will be donated to the Aïkido Pantin association to support its young practitioners in their future exchange trip to Japan.
