The Centre Culturel du Vietnam, on Albert Street in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, will host the third edition on June 13-14, 2026 of the Bonjour Vietnam Festival, a free event organized by the association Art Space in collaboration with the Centre Culturel du Vietnam in France. This new edition invites us into a living, contemporary Vietnam around a sensitive theme: “Vietnam through the five senses.” The program features a weekend of music, gastronomy, traditional crafts, photography and documentary cinema, all entirely free and open to the public.
What sticks most about this edition is the ambition to travel without leaving Paris. The festival unfolds across several distinct spaces. A photography exhibition brings together almost 100 shots by young Vietnamese photographers, spanning landscapes, traditional celebrations, cuisine, and everyday life. A street food area features about ten stalls offering popular specialties: bánh mì, bò bún, Vietnamese iced coffee, iced tea, and traditional Vietnamese dumplings. Perfect for nibbling as you wander from stall to stall, just steps from Place d’Italie. For those who like to leave with a keepsake, the immersive workshops let participants try their hand at Đông Hồ painting, decorating conical hats, crafting artisan fans, or making bamboo pieces. All workshops are free, and every participant takes home their own creation.
The festival’s marquee moment is the show “Vietnam en couleurs”, uniting more than 50 young Vietnamese and Franco-Vietnamese artists from France, Vietnam, the United States, Australia, Austria and China. Contemporary dances drawn from Vietnamese folklore, visual performances, and an áo dài parade unfold in a staging that plays with the dialogue between heritage and today’s creation. Notably, you’ll be able to admire the áo dài collection Tứ Linh Tố Nữ (The Alliance of Sacred Creatures and Feminine Beauty) by designer Tăng Mai Anh, inspired by traditional Vietnamese motifs and Hang Trống paintings.
Meanwhile, the Art Space association is launching the first edition of the international short documentary festival Viet Culture in Motion, scheduled from June 11 to 14, 2026 at the Saint-André des Arts cinema, in the 6th arrondissement. Twenty-five films, mostly by filmmakers under 30 (including several teenage authors), offer an intimate look at a Vietnam in focus: traditional crafts, memories of the elders, ethnic minorities, popular music and everyday life. Screenings are free but reservation is mandatory via HelloAsso. Here are the session times:
The festival speaks to everyone: families, groups of friends, curious minds drawn to Asian culture, and fans of Vietnamese street food. It’s a perfect way to spend a June weekend that feels both immersive and rooted in the 13th arrondissement, Paris’s historic Vietnamese quarter. It also invites enthusiasts to extend the experience with Ici Vietnam 2026, the Vietnamese Food Market and Book Festival in the 5th arrondissement or to discover our top Vietnamese restaurants in Paris.
The Bonjour Vietnam 2026 Festival runs on June 13–14, 2026 at the Centre Culturel du Vietnam en France, 19 Rue Albert, Paris 13th arrondissement. Free admission for all activities. Reservations are required for the Saturday evening show and for the documentary screenings.
Note that admission is free for all activities. The show is free but reservation is mandatory via HelloAsso. In short, this is a festival that can truly take you on a journey.
