Top tip: a disco-themed day for an immersion into the 70s, in Meaux

A time machine to teleport you back to the disco era? It actually exists! Well, nearly—the city of Meaux invites the public to relive an immersion in the disco years, the seventies, during a one-of-a-kind, free day!

On the agenda for this big disco celebration in Meaux? Dust off your best 70s outfit for the costume parade, give roller skating a try or skate, attend a disco concert, or watch demonstrations by skateboarding champions, browse the vintage flea market... Not to mention the scenes throughout the day, in various locations around the city. When night falls, join the 70s ball!

Disco fashion show

• 11 a.m., departing from City Hall

Activities at Henri IV Square

• Celtic Café, a short sketch "The Café" at 14:15, 15:15, 17:15 and 18:15, retro pinball and foosball
• parody "Jeux de 20H FR3" at 20:00
• roller-disco and skating workshop at 15:00

On the forecourt of the UGC cinema

• Disco concert by Funk It at 5 p.m.
• Vintage flea market, skate corner, and 70s-themed workshops from 2 to 7 p.m.
• Skateboarding demonstration featuring top athletes at 2 p.m.

Cathedral forecourt

• Sketch "Happiness on Formica" at 2:30 p.m., 3:45 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

Spectacular 1970s Costume Parade
