The Ici Vietnam Festival invites culture and Vietnamese gastronomy enthusiasts to a day of discovery on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from noon to 9 pm, at Place Monge in Paris's 5th arrondissement. For its 6th edition, the event promises an immersion where flavors and words meet, in a warm, festive atmosphere powered by a DJ set. Admission is completely free, and nearly 10,000 festival-goers are expected, as in previous years.
Since its inception in 2018, Ici Vietnam Festival has brought together artists and creators of Vietnamese origin from France and beyond to illuminate a contemporary scene nourished by cross-cultural fusion. The event is entirely volunteer‑run, in collaboration with the associations UGVF, Foyer Vietnam and UJVF, which unite French people of Vietnamese origin and Vietnamese‑speaking Francophones eager to share their dual culture.
On the Food Market side, a new wave of chefs from the Vietnamese diaspora is seizing the tents with bold, audacious creations: flavor fusions, fresh takes on classics, and a generous street food spirit. The lineup features Paris gourmets’ favorites such as Comme au Vietnam, Ngoc Xuyen, Nonette, Caphette, and La Tropicale Glacier.

The Book Market is the festival’s other unmissable highlight. This year, more than 200 titles in French and Vietnamese will be on offer: novels, essays, poetry, theatre, comics, illustrated books. Under the canopy, the afternoon will feature panel discussions and author meet-and-greets with invited writers: Clément Baloup, Florent Maudoux, Mr Hieu, Thi Colas, Noah Truong, Vidya Narine, Emilie Laystary and others. A wonderful chance to discover a vibrant contemporary Vietnamese literature in full swing, far from clichés.
Place Monge, just steps from the Jardin des Plantes and the Pantheon, provides an ideal setting for the day: a spacious esplanade, easily accessible by metro (line 7, Place Monge station), perfect for wandering among the stalls before settling in at a round table. The Ici Vietnam festival welcomes everyone—gastro- and literature-curious alike, whether with family or friends. Find all the details on the official site and on the festival's social channels (Instagram / Facebook).
