The Créations & Savoir-Faire show marks its 30th anniversary from November 18 to 22, 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, with hands-on DIY workshops, an evening edition, and a family day.

Ready to turn inspiration into creation? The Salon Créations & Savoir-Faire is celebrating its 30th anniversary from 18 to 22 November 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Pavilion 6.

For five days, the fair dedicated to DIY and handmade crafts brings together more than 330 exhibitors centered on sewing, knitting, embroidery, the fine arts, paper, decoration, home projects, and creative cuisine. This anniversary edition adds a number of festive events to its usual lineup, including special workshops, a night edition, a family day, and free demonstrations.

DIY workshops, demonstrations, and creative spaces in Paris

The program spans several domains: Fil & Aiguille, Paper Art & Fine Arts, Creative Home & DIY, Creative Cuisine, and the Creators’ Village. The fair also features workshops on knitting, sewing, embroidery, crochet, macramé, journaling, artisanal watercolors, and jewelry making.

For this anniversary edition, a range of activities will punctuate the five days:

  • special workshops celebrating 30 years, among the 470 sessions announced;
  • demonstrations and free activities in the ID Deco, ID Food, ID Fil and ID Family spaces;
  • a creative program for children presented by Pandacraft in the ID Family area;
  • the return of Creative Breaks, with colouring, knitting and crochet, embroidery and puzzles;
  • Speed Knitting, the French knitting-speed championship, held during the show;
  • a textile art exhibition dedicated to the theme “What Counts, What Is Told.”

The Village Ateliers remains one of the show’s flagship hands-on spaces. The announced program totals more than 600 hours of workshops and around 140 different techniques, led by artists, craftsmen, content creators and industry professionals.

An Anniversary Night and a Family Day

On Thursday, November 19, Créations & Savoir-Faire extends its opening hours to 9 p.m. with a nocturnal session starting at 5 p.m. Workshops, free demonstrations and live music accompany this highlight, with a convivial moment planned to celebrate the show's 30th anniversary.

Sunday, November 22 is dedicated to families. Workshops and activities for children are announced, along with a DIY birthday snack. This day may especially appeal to parents who want to share a hands-on activity with their kids and explore several disciplines in one place.

Creators, brands and textile art on the agenda

Hundreds of brands, designers and craftspeople specialized in DIY and crafts are expected at Porte de Versailles. Among the exhibitors announced are Singer, Mondial Tissus, and Fujifilm. On Saturday, November 21, Mondial Tissus also plans a runway show dedicated to its Slow Creation movement, featuring pieces created by amateur designers.

The textile art exhibition completes the program with works and projects that engage thread, weaving, patchwork, knitting, and embroidery. Artists, collectors, and associations explore the transmission of know-how and collaborative creation, against the backdrop of thirty years of the fair’s history.

Creations & Savoir-Faire 2026 opens on Wednesday the 18th, Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of November from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Thursday the 19th of November from 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday the 22nd of November from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The full-day price is 18.50 euros at the ticket office and 15 euros online.

Special rates are available for youths, families, and the evening session, while entry is free for children under 6. Other 30th-anniversary activities are still to be announced ahead of the show's opening.
