The Photo & Video Show offers a wealth of meetings, lectures, workshops and training courses for amateurs and professionals alike, to explore the varied techniques and facets of this world. It also features an awards ceremony, exhibitions, and artistic presentations around a special theme... Here are a few must-attend sessions at the show.

  • The Grand Exhibition: “200 Years Behind the Lens. Cameras: 1826-2026”
To mark the bicentenary, the Photo & Video Show teams up with the Nicéphore Niépce Museum to tell two centuries of invention through antique cameras, collectible pieces, and period prints. The Grand Exhibition invites visitors to view a replica of the famous “View from the Grass” (1827), considered the first known photograph, before tracing the saga from the daguerreotype and collodion to silver-based photography and the digital revolution. An immersive experience with Marjolaine Vuarnesson’s Studio Collodion: a daily demonstration at 11 a.m. and workshops offered throughout the day to discover one of the 19th century’s most captivating photographic processes. Also on display is the first public presentation of The Bicentennial Chest. This time capsule dedicated to photography aims to preserve a moment in time and pass on a cultural record of the bicentennial year to future generations, and it will be kept for twelve years at the Nicéphore Niépce Museum before being reopened in 2039.
  • 11 expositions : Des regards d’auteurs, des Prix et les Festivals de photos nationaux incontournables.
“Messolonghi, Terre de Liberté” by Nikos Aliagas, “Hors Champ, les coulisses du cinéma” by Christophe Brachet, “Hors Cadre” by David Delaplace, the Zooms 2026, The Analog Chronicles, Sony World Photography Awards, Canon World Unseen, Pink Ribbon Photo Award by Estée Lauder Companies, Les Femmes s'exposent, the Bayeux Calvados-Normandie Award for war correspondents and the Montier en Der International Festival of Wildlife & Nature Photography.

  • The Big Conversations
Led by specialized journalists, these discussions explore the participants’ careers, sources of inspiration, artistic approach, and the behind‑the‑scenes of their work. At the heart of the Photo & Video Fair, the Boris Vian Theatre, located on level -1, will host for this edition: Nikos Aliagas, Alexandre Astier, Arnaud Baumann, Samuel Bollendorff, Christophe Brachet, Olivier Culmann, Jean-Marie Dreujou, Kyriakos Kaziras, Alain Keler, Baptiste Langinier, JC Pieri, Adrien Vautier, Sophie Zénon. The exchanges will be moderated by journalists Anaïs Viand and Sophie Bernard.
  • La Foire internationale de la photo de Bièvres, sous le péristyle de la Grande Halle de la Villette
On Sunday, October 11, and for the third year in a row, the Bièvres International Photo Fair returns to the peristyle of the Grande Halle de la Villette, hosting its market of used gear and photographic antiques. About thirty stalls gather used analog equipment, collectible cameras, lenses, accessories, and vintage photographs, plus a repair service. An invitation to browse, discover, and chat with fellow enthusiasts.
New this edition, five exhibitors dedicate their stalls to cinema-related equipment and photographs. Photoclub Paris Val-de-Bièvre, organizer of the Fair since 1964, also runs a stand to present the market and to inform visitors about the next Bièvres edition, scheduled for June 5–6, 2027. An opportunity to hunt for treasures, discover, exchange with other enthusiasts, and perhaps unearth the piece that completes a setup or enriches a collection.

This major photography event promises to be another exciting one! Enjoy the show!
