Giant Open, the new international swimming meeting comes to Saint-Germain-en-Laye

The French Swimming Federation inaugurates this year 2023 a brand new swimming competition, the Giant Open, which will take place on the weekend of March 18 and 19, 2023, at the Dome of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. 200 of the best French and international swimmers will be gathered during two days, theelite of swimming! This first edition hopes to impose the event in the calendar of this sport, just a few months before the Olympic Games of Paris 2024, and to become an unmissable event!

After the successful European Championships and thirteen medals, the French swimmers are highly expected! And you can come and see them swim, from 20 euros, in the heart of Yvelines! The Dôme Saint-Germain-en-Laye is equipped with three pools, including an Olympic one, perfect for such high-level athletes. On the program, freestyle swimming, 100m backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, the ideal opportunity for our Blues to prepare before the deadline of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024, at home! The ticketing is open!

With this event, the Federation is studying the possibility of a bid to organize the 2026 European Swimming Championships in France.
