Basketball: where can you find a basketball hall in Paris?

You want to play basketball in Paris... Yes, but you don't know where to go to score great baskets. Don't worry, don't put your ball away just yet: here's a selection of indoor halls available in and around Paris.

Because it's cold, because it's raining, because we don't necessarily want to play in front of an audience, or near cars and buses... There are many reasons why we don't want to play basketball on the open-air courts scattered around the capital. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy a game of basketball with friends: there are plenty of indoor venues in the capital to satisfy your basketball cravings.

Several halls dedicated to the orange ball open their doors to you in and around Paris. You don't need to be a member of a club: you can come alone or with friends to dribble and shoot. For a small fee, and if you book your session in advance, you can enjoy a good pitch sheltered from the elements.

Here are a few addresses to remember for your next basketball game:

  • Hoops Factory Paris-Villette
    3 rue Pierre Larousse, 93300 Aubervilliers
    A well-known name among basketball fans. You can reserve 5x5 or 3x3 courts, come alone and play with new people, take part in tournaments or enjoy personalized training.
    12 euros for a solo pass, 55 euros to reserve a 3x3 court during off-peak hours, 10 euros to take part in a 3x3 tournament.

  • The One Ball
    38 rue du Ballon, 93160 Noisy-le-Grand
    The largest play and training center in the Paris region, open to all. Matches and training sessions, solo sessions, coaching: several offers are available to suit your desires and goals.
    15 euros for a solo session, 48 euros to reserve a 3x3 pitch during off-peak hours, 50 euros for an individual coaching session.

  • Stadium Thiais
    2 rue du Courson ZI SENIA, 94320 Thiais
    In this multi-sports hall, several pitches are available for hire, for 1h30 to 2 hours of play.
    Depending on the day and time, you can expect to pay between 10 and 15 euros per person.
