To help raise funds for the war wounded, Parisians are invited to run or walk between 2.5 and 10 kilometers, starting at Les Invalides, with a route around the monument, on May 5, 2024.

On May 5, 2024, Les Invalides is showing its solidarity with those wounded in war, with several races organized in aid of Bleuet de France. The Military Governor of Paris invites you to take part in one of three races or a walk, between 2.5 and 10 kilometers, to raise funds for those who gave their lives in the service of the Nation. The program includes an exceptional course around Les Invalides, starting at Place Vauban, and can be run several times for the biggest races.

This charity event will bring together civilians, soldiers, wounded and disabled athletes, all united in the same cause. Several distances and types of race are on offer to suit families and experienced athletes alike, with three races of 2.5 (12 to 15 years), 5 (from 14 years) and 10 kilometers (from 16 years) or a 2.5km walk (general public).

To add to the festivities, runners can look forward to a host of events in the southern gardens of the Hôtel National des Invalides, including awareness-raising workshops, testimonials, an introduction to lifesaving techniques and the presence of the Paris Fire Brigade dog team.
