Although hope was still high several weeks before the event, when fans thought that many town halls would be setting up displays for the occasion, in the end there will be no giant screen in the capital, contrary to the announcement made by the town hall in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The reason?Insufficient police force" to secure them.
The latter will nevertheless offer an indoor broadcast, as it did for the semi-final, in the Salle Jacques Chirac. Reservations are free of charge, but must be made on the Town Hall website, and are reserved in priority for residents of the arrondissement. A family area is available for watching the match in peace and quiet with children.
A live broadcast will take place in the heart of the Parc des Princes, as in 2020. Thousands of fans will be able to come together to experience this anthological final, before joining up on the Champs-Elysées in the event of victory, hoping for less damage than in the semi-final. Four giant screens are on the program, with a stadium capacity of 38,000 and ticket prices starting from 10 euros, with preferential rates for season ticket holders.
The authorities are also refusing to allow PSG to present its trophy in front of the Arc de Triomphe in the event of victory, and the planned parade is still awaiting approval from the Ministry of the Interior.
Fortunately, outside the capital, the town ofAulnay-sous-Bois has announced that it will be broadcasting the final on two giant screens, in the Dumont parking lot and in the Rose des Vents market square. Also in Seine-Saint-Denis, Rosny-sous-Bois is offering a foodtruck, DJ set and big screen on the lawn of Parc Decesari from 9pm.
