It's a historic first for urban cultures: on 4, 5 and 6 December 2026, the Arena de la Porte de la Chapelle will host the World Championships of Breaking and Hip-Hop Freestyle. More than 200 international athletes will go head-to-head in spectacular battles in the capital, under a program of exceptional artistic offerings blending DJing, beatboxing and showcases.
Never before have these two major disciplines been brought together in a single official competition of this scale. For three days, the Adidas Arena becomes the epicenter of the world of the danse urbaine, as more than 200 B-Boys, B-Girls and freestyle dancers from across the globe go head-to-head. In total, five distinct events are on the program to crown the ultimate title: B-Boy 1v1, B-Girl 1v1, Hip-Hop 1v1, Hip-Hop 2v2 and Hip-Hop Team.
Beyond the sporting stakes and the chase for medals, the event is designed as a grand celebration of hip-hop culture hip-hop, powered by high-profile guests and live performances between each competition, with an exceptional DJ battle on the decks between Cut Killer and DJ Lass, a rap showcase featuring a live performance by rapper Kulturr, scratching by DJ Skillz and DJ Fly, and a beatbox session led by Alexinho and River'.
