It's an event that Parisians are eagerly awaiting: the return of Lollapalooza Paris. This Friday, July 21, Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23, 2023, the music festival will once again take over theHippodrome ParisLongchamp, with tracks by Kendrick Lamar, Aya Nakamura, Lil Nas X, Niall Horan, Rosalia and Damso.

Opening times

For the impatient, Lolla Paris has unveiled on its website the opening times for the three days of festivities. On Friday, July 21, the site opens at 3pm. The following day, Saturday, opening at 2.30pm. Finally, on Sunday, for the last day, the site is scheduled to open at 1.30pm.

Site opening times :

  • Friday, July 21: 3:00 pm
  • Saturday, July 22: 2.30pm
  • Sunday, July 23: 1.30pm


How to get to the festival

By bike, metro or bus, the festival encourages festival-goers to use public transport or the Vélib'!

Prohibited items at the festival

As with all festivals, Lollapalooza Paris bans a number of items from its site, including projectiles, aerosols and sprays, and folding chairs. Here is the official list of prohibited and authorized objects on site.

Unauthorized items

  • Glass or metal bottles, corked bottles, metal cans, cups, etc.
  • Weapons, explosive, flammable or volatile substances
  • Pyrotechnics, candles
  • Sharp, pointed or blunt objects, penknives and knives
  • Objects likely to be used as projectiles
  • Audiovisual equipment (professional cameras, DAT or MD recorders)
  • Folding chairs, large rucksacks, tents and all camping equipment, bowls and water bottles.
  • Flagpoles, parasols, non-retractable umbrellas with tips
  • Bicycle pumps and repair equipment, motorcycle helmets
  • Signs or banners of a political, ideological, religious or advertising nature
  • Aerosols, including sun cream and misters


Authorized items

  • Compact and simple disposable cameras
  • Sandwiches
  • Non-pointed retractable umbrellas
  • Blankets and plastic bags
  • Sunscreen in tubes
  • Sunglasses
  • Small bags and backpacks
  • Empty water bottles* with caps (neither metal nor aluminum)
  • Empty water bottles* without caps


*For safety reasons, water bottles must be empty, but can be refilled at the festival's many drinking water points.
