Spectacul'Art sings France Gall at the Olympia in Paris in February 2024

On January 7, 2018, France Gall left us at the age of 70, leaving behind a very rich repertoire and songs that still resonate in our heads. We're thinking of course of " Résiste ", " Ella, elle l'a " and " Évidemment ", but also of " Babacar ", " Débranche ", " Si maman si " without forgetting " Cézanne Peint " and " Il jouait du piano debout ".

Many of these legendary and sublime songs will soon be heard live again, thanks to the Spectacul' Art Choir's concert at theOlympia on Monday February 12, 2024.

But what exactly is the Spectacul'Art Choir? Since 2005, Spectacul'Art has been creating shows where amateurs and professionals (renowned soloists, well-known musicians...) come together around their shared passion: music and a love of the stage.

Thanks to this atypical concept, Spectacul'Art enables music and singing enthusiasts to get up close and personal with the world of show business, and to take to the stage. For each show, the principle is the same: these singers, aged between 18 and 75, learn the musical repertoire of a well-known artist in order to pay tribute to him or her during a concert or tour. What makes Spectacul' Art special? Polyphonic song, with many amateur singers accompanied by professionals, including Michel Jonasz, Patrick Fiori, Chimène Badi, Amir, Emmanuel Moire, Natasha St-Pier and Julie Zenatti.

Today, Spectacul'Art, which boasts some 2,000 choristers, has already given concerts in several of France's legendary venues, including the Zenith, the Cirque d'Hiver and the Salle Pleyel in Paris, as well as the Théâtre Antique in Orange.

On February 12, 2024, the Spectacul'Art Choir will perform several of France Gall's most famous songs at the legendary Olympia in Paris. For this unique concert, conceived and directed by Vincent Fuchs, Julie Zenatti will join the choristers for a few songs.
