The French artist, now 77, is taking up residence at the Paris La Défense Arena for two nights, this Saturday and Sunday, March 16 and 17, 2024, on the occasion of his tour entitled "Je me souviens d'un adieu". So, when are the arena doors due to open? Will there be an opening act? What time does the singer plan to take to the stage? How do I get to the venue by public transport? After some sixty dates across France, Michel Sardou is nearing the end of his " Je me souviens d'un adieu " tour. Before two dates at the Zénith d'Auvergne, on March 25 and 26, and a final show in Brest on March 29, Michel Sardou will bid farewell to his Parisian and Ile-de-France audiences on Saturday March 16 and Sunday March 17, 2024 at Paris La Défense Arena!

In an interview with Le Parisien, the French artist confides that he has imagined a special scenography for these two dates in Europe's largest indoor venue. " I imagined a very special three-dimensional show, with a round stage and 360° screens," he told Le Parisien.

As for the setlist, we imagine that the singer's many hits will be on show. These include " Lacs du Connemara ", " Une fille aux yeux clairs ", " Je vais t'aimer ", " Les villes de solitude ", " L'autre femme ", " Je vole " and " Être une femme ". So many hits that Michel Sardou fans will be hoping to hear one last time in the capital. In fact, TV coverage of Michel Sardou 's two-day concert at the Paris La Défense Arena is planned.

Paris La Défense Arena will open its doors to the general public at 6.30pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday. The opening act will take to the stage from 8pm on Saturday and 5:30pm on Sunday. Lastly, Michel Sardou is scheduled to take to the stage at 8.40pm on Saturday and 6.10pm on Sunday.

  • 6:30pm: Doors open to the general public
  • 8:00 pm: Opening act
  • 8:40pm: Michel Sardou show begins

SUNDAY MARCH 17, 2024

  • 4:00 pm: Doors open to the general public
  • 5:30 pm: Opening act
  • 6:10pm: Start of Michel Sardou show


The venue recommends that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert.

Another tip, and not the least important, concerns transport to the venue. In view of the large crowds expected, the venue recommends that fans use public transport to get to and from the Paris La Défense Arena.

You can take metro line 1, RER A, Tramway T2 or Transilien line L.

Please note that Paris La Défense Arena has several different entrances, depending on your place in the hall. Therefore, " the colored access indicated on your ticket (yellow, red or purple) helps you to find your way around, but does not represent a compulsory passage point for screening ", as the Paris La Défense Arena points out, and advises you to go directly to the entrances indicated below:

SATURDAY MARCH 16, 2024

  • Entrances to the parterre are via entrance 33 ;
  • Entrances to level 1 are via entrances 32, 34 and 60;
  • VIP entrances will be via entrances 21, 39 & 55;
  • Access for people with disabilities and reduced mobility will be via entrances 38 and 56.

SUNDAY MARCH 17, 2024

  • Entrances to the parterre will be via entrance 33;
  • Entrances to level 1 will be via entrances 32, 34 and 60;
  • VIP access will be via entrances 21, 39 & 55;
  • Access for people with disabilities and reduced mobility will be via entrances 38 and 56.


"For reasons of ease and fluidity of access, access to security checks is not organized solely by order of arrival of spectators in the queue, but also takes into account the category of ticket and the fluidity of passage at the various points" Paris La Défense Arena would like to point out.

On its website, Paris La Défense Arena also provides a list of prohibited items at concerts, "in accordance with legislation governing establishments open to the public ". Forbidden are " all dangerous and illicit objects that are bulky, that could be used as projectiles and that could be a danger to spectators, visitors or artists, or that could be diverted from their intended use for malicious purposes", such as bottles and flasks, helmets, alcoholic beverages, any object on wheels (skateboards, rollerblades, etc.), unauthorized cameras, rigid umbrellas and selfie poles. The venue also states: "In view of current events, we are tightening up access to bags on the site. Authorized bags or panniers must be less than 10L ".

Once the concert is over, we advise you to go to La Défense station (Line 1 / RER A) if you wish to return to Paris.

For all other directions, go to La Défense station for Transilien lines L and T2. " If you are taking public transport to Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Cergy and Poissy, you can go to Nanterre Préfecture station and take the RER A," adds Paris La Défense Arena.
