In 2026, it will already be 40 years since Daniel Balavoine passed away, leaving behind such timeless songs as " L'Aziza ", " Le Chanteur ", " Tous les cris, les SOS " and " Mon fils, ma bataille ". The Salle Pleyel will be celebrating this anniversary by hosting the " Légende Balavoine " tribute concert on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Daniel Balavoine made French chanson history in the 70's and 80's with his engaging lyrics and melodies. Revealed to the general public thanks to Michel Berger, who offered him the role of Johnny Rockfort in the musical"Starmania", Daniel Balavoine seduced the ears of many thanks to his unique voice and two songs: " Quand on arrive en ville " and " SOS d'un terrien en détresse ".

In all, the French singer-songwriter and musician released 8 studio albums between 1975 and 1985. The latest,"Sauver l'amour", includes the hits " Aimer est plus fort que d'être aimé ", " Tous les cris les S.O.S. ", " L'Aziza " and " Sauver l'amour ".

Tragically killed in a helicopter crash on January 14, 1986, Daniel Balavoine leaves behind a timeless musical legacy, while continuing to inspire artists and fans around the world.
