What would the world be without music? Not much, really... And what about a year without music festivals? Now that’s a thought I’d rather not entertain. But rest assured, Paris and the Île-de-France region are alive with music festivals. Even better, each year, some fresh events are making their debut right on Francilien soil.
Whether summer or not, music festivals are constantly making headlines. Iconic events like We Love Green in the eastern part of the city and Solidays in the western suburbs, but also Days Off, Rock En Seine, or the Fête de l'Huma and Les Inrocks Festival are also on the calendar. Plus, there's a thriving electro scene with events like Marvellous Island and the Cercle Festival. There truly is something for everyone's taste, desires, and expectations! Yes, 2026 looks set to be another year packed with music — and that’s definitely music to our ears!
These music festivals also serve as the perfect opportunity to take over some of Paris’s most iconic venues, such as the Longchamp Racecourse, the Philharmonie de Paris, the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud, the Base 217 in Essonne, the Seine Musicale, and don’t forget the Bois de Vincennes... some of which are green spaces, others are legendary sites where festivals feel right at home, attracting crowds year after year to enjoy live music in these cherished settings.
When it comes to musical styles, the diversity is just as impressive. From rap performances by Theodora, Orelsan, and L2B, to rock gigs featuring The Cure and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, not to mention electro sets by Mosimann and Etienne de Crécy... Here's the lineup!
