It's hard to talk about live music without mentioning Paris’s vibrant concert venues—and the surrounding Île-de-France region is no exception. Among the must-visit venues is undoubtedly Paris La Défense Arena. Nestled in the Hauts-de-Seine, it holds the title of Europe’s largest indoor arena.
On the other side of the city, some prefer Paris Bercy, a legendary venue that has hosted a string of top international artists. But many other concert halls also shine a spotlight on live music. Notable examples include the Zénith de Paris, the iconic Olympia, the Philharmonie, the Salle Pleyel, the Trianon, the Folies Bergère, the Grand Rex, and the Élysée Montmartre.
Others prefer smaller venues to get closer to the artists, such as La Maroquinerie, La Cigale, Le Trabendo, La Gaîté Lyrique, La Boule Noire, Petit Bain and Le Cabaret Sauvage.
