But this concert promises to be a special one for Parisian audiences. In a post published onIron Maiden 's social networks on September 18, we learn that this concert at Paris La Défense Arena will be filmed! " The band will also be back in Paris to film their "Run For Your Lives" concert for our fans and posterity! We've chosen an indoor stadium to enjoy the best of the production and a great audience, as Paris has always been for us," the band wrote in the post.
Consequence? Iron Maiden has announced that the Paris concert will be phone-free, but only for spectators who have purchased pit tickets. " In Paris only, general admission tickets (standing) will be entirely phone-free thanks to the Yondr secure pocket system, guaranteeing the best possible environment for fans and filming," it continues on social networks.
Like other artists and bands, such as Bob Dylan and Ghost, Iron Maiden is banning phones from its Paris concert. Specifically, for standing pit tickets only, phones will be placed in Yondr pouches. These will remain in your possession and will simply be opened at the end of the concert. For those who need to use their phones during the concert, dedicated areas will be set aside inside the venue, " outside the pit ", says Yondr. " Anyone caught using their phone during the show will be escorted out ", says AEG Presents France on its website, thanking spectators in advance for playing along and " helping to create a 100% live, screen-free atmosphere ".
