The Presbytère, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne’s show, returns to La Seine Musicale in Boulogne-Billancourt, from March 10–14, 2027. This revival sits within a season celebrating the 100th anniversary of Maurice Béjart’s birth and the 40th anniversary of the company.
On the Grand Seine stage, the dancers revive Le Presbytère n’a rien perdu de son charme, ni le jardin de son éclat, a Maurice Béjart choreography set to music by Queen and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with costumes by Gianni Versace.
The Presbytère is a ballet tribute to the company’s iconic dancer, Jorge Donn, and to singer Freddie Mercury, both lost at 45 to AIDS. Juxtaposing Mozart motifs with Queen’s greatest hits, the choreographer invites us to reflect on desire and love.

The performances from March 10–14, 2027 constitute the second leg of the anniversary program at La Seine Musicale. They are preceded, from March 5–7, by another evening that brings together Oskar, a new work by Riva & Repele, Mozart Tangos (suite), and the Boléro. The two programs are available for separate reservations.
