Les Grandes Heures de Sceaux: a festive program around sport and cycling

A vast island of nature in the Hauts-de-Seine region, the Domaine départemental de Sceaux is listed as a Historic Monument and attracts many Parisians in search of calm and greenery. Over 180 hectares of parkland, ponds, waterfalls and canals, trees in bloom, a château transformed into a museum... The estate has many attractions.

The site also attracts visitors with its regular events and rendezvous. Exhibitions, parties, games, walks: visitors of all ages can enjoy a varied program all year round. Regular events include the Grandes Heures de Sceaux, a festive cultural event held three times a year.

Each year, the Domaine de Sceaux offers cultural activities based on a theme linked to the era of one of its owners. This event is organized in reference to the festivities organized by the Duchesse du Maine in the 17th century.

From June 28 to 30, 2024, the Domaine de Sceaux goes summertime, with Les Grandes Heures de Sceaux: à bicyclette. Several events and shows are planned for the whole family over the weekend. Don't forget to book in advance for the activities that appeal to you!

The program for this new edition of the Grandes Heures de Sceaux :

• Roues libres. The great history of the bicycle in the Orangerie du Domaine.

• Repair or overhaul of your bike by professionals, and the chance to learn how to care for your bike with them.
  
  
• Discover the origins of history's first motorcycle, the steam-powered velocipede.
