Cabaret Canaille: burlesque show extended at Théâtre Michel

The art of burlesque, with its shades of glamour, humor and audacity, returns to the Théâtre Michel every Sunday from October 13, thanks to Valentina del Pearls'Cabaret Burlesque troupe. In a breathtaking celebration of the 1920s to 1940s, audiences are transported back to the Golden Age of American Burlesque.

Le cabaret burlesque is much more than a show, it's an ode to female disobedience and strength of character. Behind the glitter of sequins and the gentle movement of feathers lies a story of resilience. A time when, despite prohibition and rigorous censorship, women found clever ways around the obstacles, elevating this ancestor of striptease to an art form.
